Google Updates Google Voice Widgets for Android Thursday, September 9, 2010

Google today announced the availability of new Google Voice widgets for its Android mobile phone platform. The new widgets are a Google Voice Inbox widget and a Settings widget. The first lets users access their most recent voicemails and text messages from their home screen. With the widget, users can also flip through messages in their inbox and preview it in the Google Voice app. The Google Voice Settings widget gives Voice users easier access to their account controls, such as composing messages and changing dialing preferences. The widgets are both built into the revised Google Voice application, which is a free download from the Android Market
