Opera Software has released a second beta over Opera Mini 10.1 for the Symbian platform. Opera says that it has updated the JavaScript engine in this version of Opera Mini, and hopes that beta testers will provide feedback about its performance. Opera claims the ARM-optimized version of its Carakan JavaScript engine is four times faster than the previous version. Opera Mini 10.1 beta 2 is a free download.
