Samsung Announces Two New WP7 Mango Smartphones Monday, September 12, 2011

Samsung today announced two new smartphones that will run Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 Mango platform. Both devices feature 1.4GHz processors, Super AMOLED Plus displays and front-facing cameras. Focus S: This slab-style phone has a 4.3-inch display, “4G-capable speeds,” and measures 8.55mm at its thinnest point. It includes an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.3-megapixel user-facing camera.Focus Flash: This lower-spec WP7.5 Mango smartphone has a 3.7-inch screen, a 5-megapixel main camera, and a front facing camera of unknown quality. Samsung said the device will be small, lightweight, and pocket-friendly.Both phones will be available from AT&T and other unnamed network operators later this fall. Additionally, the Samsung Focus will receive the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update this fall.
