Twitter has provided a new version of its application for the Android platform. The latest version includes a significantly redesigned user interface, which Twitter says was made to look more like the official Twitter client for other platforms. Other features include auto-complete for Twitter names, and easier tools for managing Tweets, reTweets, and @replies. The search function has also been widely retooled, which allows for searches for specific people, terms, locations, as well as searches for friends directly from your address book.
